Gender Equity in Animal Rights (GEAR) is a coalition of individuals working to foster gender equity, diversity, and inclusion by supporting, connecting, and elevating womxn, non-binary people, and transgender people in the animal rights movement.

Over the next year, GEAR aims to support the animal rights movement in the following ways:
- Develop and implement a program to amplify and advance womxn, non-binary people, and transgender people
- Build a resource database for organizations, employees, and activists
- Facilitate networking events across the US to foster connection between womxn, non-binary people, and transgender people
